Upload a video showcasing your talent to your Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok social media account. Then, tag your favourite Lexus POP Classics artist and use the hashtag #YoungStar.
Step 2
By registering below will ensure we promptly review your submission. Failing to register your entry may result in it being overlooked. Select one Lexus POP Classics artist to endorse your talent.
Step 3
Once your entry is uploaded to social media and you’ve registered on our website, following the above steps, you can share this with all your friends and family to support you.

The “Young Star” competition is open to children and teenagers under 18. Participants must be 18 years old or younger during their audition.
To enter the “Young Star” competition, visit our website and complete the online registration form. You must provide a link to a video audition showcasing your talent. Be sure to read and follow all the guidelines provided on the registration page.
We welcome various talents, including singing, dancing, instrumental performance, magic, comedy, choirs and more. If you have a unique talent, we encourage you to showcase it in your audition video.
The winner of the “Young Star” competition will have the exciting opportunity to perform live on the Lexus Pop Classics stage during the show. This is a fantastic chance to gain exposure and experience performing in front of a large audience. There is also a cash prize of R30 000
Registration opens on 16 May and closes on 14 June. Audition videos must be submitted by 14 June. Lexus POP Classics takes place on 3 Aug, and you should be available for rehearsals the week of. Be sure to check our T&Cs for any further dates.
There is no entry fee to participate in the “Young Star” competition. We want to make it accessible to all talented young performers. In fact, should you win, all of your costs associated with the competition will be covered by the Lexus POP Classics production team.
Participants can enter as individuals or as a group. Groups can include bands, dance troupes, or any other type of performance ensemble.
Winners are chosen based on judges’ scores. Our panel of experienced judges will evaluate each performance
Your audition video should showcase your talent. Make sure it is well-lit, with good audio quality, and that your performance is easily visible.
Yes, there are specific rules and guidelines that all participants must follow. These include age requirements, acceptable content for performances, and submission deadlines. Please review our website’s full list of rules under the T&C’s before submitting your entry.
No, each participant can submit only one audition video. Please choose your best performance to showcase your talent.
Yes, finalists will receive coaching and mentoring from industry professionals to help them prepare for their live performance on the Lexus Pop Classics stage.
